It has been a busy October in EYFS! The children have continued to make new friends, visit our school library, and we have absolutely loved visiting forest school! Take a look...

We've enjoyed November. The children have taken part in their first remembrance service at school and also joined in with children in need. We have been busy taking part in read write inc phonics lessons, maths lessons and exploring our outdoor area. Take a look...

 

December

It's been a busy month in EYFS! The children were fantastic during their first Nativity performance! We have taken part in the Reindeer Run and raised money for Rotherham hospice. We have also eaten Christmas dinner, taken part in Christmas jumper day, had our first Badsley Christmas party and have even had a visit from Santa who read us a lovely story about a little reindeer with a red nose. Lots and lots of learning has taken place including reading red words as part of the Santa challenge, counting beyond 10 and exploring the snow and ice at forest school. Take a look...

 

January

We've had a fantastic start to 2025 in EYFS! The children have been really busy taking part in large apparatus sessions in PE, learning about repeating patterns in maths and taking part in very muddy forest school sessions. The children have absolutely loved learning about planet Earth and space. We've had so much fun! Take a look at what we've been up to...

Our learning journey has continued in February and we've had so much fun! We particularly enjoyed taking part in NSPCC number day. We learnt all about Valentines day and even celebrated our 100th day at school by dressing as 100 year old people! Take a look at what we've been up to...
