KS2 SATs 2026
Here are the dates for when the National KS2 SATs will take place in May 2026.
Monday 11th May to Thursday 14th May 2026.

EYFS (Reception/FS2) Baseline Assessments
Schools must complete the reception baseline assessment for each child in the first 6 weeks after they enter FS2.
Phonics Screening Check for Year 2 children
Children who did not achieve the pass mark for their phonics screening check at the end of Year 1 will retake another assessment in the week beginning Monday 8th June 2026.
Phonics Screening Check for Year 1 children
Year 1 children will complete their phonics screening check in the week beginning Monday 8th June 2026.
Multiplication tables check (MTC) for Year 4 children
Year 4 children will complete the multiplication check during the two week window commencing Monday 1st June 2026.
